We reached the vrika beach with boat from paxos. Water is magnificent, sand is white and there are plenty of umbrellas and seats. Full organized with taverns(3). Among the taverns I highly recommend the "vrika" tavern. Umbrellas are for free, there is not even obligation to buy coffee.the owner of the tavern is friendly kind and willing to help .he also served us free beers. The second time we visited vrika beach ( initially we went to voytoumi beach but it was disappointing and returned by walking to vrika ) we ate at the "cedrus" tavern . The service was extremely bad , unfriendly the guy who works there forced us to take something r eat during our stay in the umbrellas otherwise we would pay 14eyros for the umbrellas ,and at the end of our food he did not even said bye or bring us fruit (all the other tables were served fruits).

We managed to pass alongside this amazing arch on our boat trip today. Unfortunately as we were alone we were unsure if we could indeed go through the arch. The weather wasn't the best, and the water a touch choppy, so we decided to pass by and take photos instead - but well worth a visit if you're boating down this part of the island.

Extremely picturesque. not large but few people visit (boats pulling in for a pitstop mainly), water close to the best on the island, some shade adjacent to rock face (not keen on the landslide side of the beach however). Steep walk down to beach, not suitable for inactive people

Free parking and sun beds for taverner users. Stunning beach but difficult to walk on the large cobble stones. Take beach shoes and make the effort and you will be rewarded with warm crystal clear waters teeming with fishes. Views really are spectacular. If the sea sounds too difficult then enjoy a dip in the well maintained saltwater pool and enjoy an iced coffee, cold beer or lunch in the taverna. Staff polite and efficient even during a power cut when we visited and prices fair for such a great location. Not too busy as late September . May be different atmosphere in height of summer.

The main pictures which show up on TA are wrong. I think it's Monodendri - north of Loggos.
Monogonissi is billed as the only sandy beach in Paxos. Someone described it as 'like builders sand'. That's because it is - it's imported, to create an artificial beach. It's tiny. Maybe 20m wide, and 4 metres deep. Great place to stop with a boat because you can moor at a dock (plentiful moorings even in peak season), and there are good places to eat (Carnayo Gold is great). However, I wouldn't choose this as a beach for the day. If you need sand that badly, don't go to Paxos.

Not the easiest beach to find but well worth a visit. The road down is very rough and you will need to walk the last part. But it's worth it as you get a gorgeous bay, which has few other visitors. The sea is amazing, clear and blue and warm. The beach is pebble so a pair of suf shoes is recommended for getting Ina no out of the sea.

Pythias Gallery exhibits the work of Scottish artist Fiona Gillies(Ba hons Edinburgh). After artistic research in India and Europe artist found her inspiration on Paxos island. For the last 20 years she concentrates creating mixed media art(incl.paintings with sand, organic materials, textiles etc)in Paxos.Every art lover will enjoy the exhibition and can choose lovely gift/memory from holiday here!
Inspiring fine art and local seascapes replete with actual sand! The paintings are at very affordable prices and all originals. The fine art is unique, evocative and has a very esoteric feel.
I would highly recommend a visit to this little jewel of a shop. I use the word carefully as they also sell a fine selection of jewelry.
The artist is from Scotland and was very friendly and charming. All in all a real find.
