This is our 4th time at the Aqua Park, been going to this park every summer since it opened.
A great day with the kids , the slides are excellent , our boys did them all. Our family favorite is the "Crazy Hills". The kids always want to beat us to the bottom !
There plenty of space to have lunch , we bring our own sandwiches and drinks. However we always buy drinks there as well.
Do no miss the music band that goes into the wave pool .. excellent time!
We always go there on the Saturday's as there seems to be less crowd on that day.

Astonishing, 15 centuries of Christianity on one small site. Really exiting. Mosaics are formidable and the view from the tower is memorable.

New and improved sport an fun center in Cervar, Porat. Our wide offer of activities gives you and your family a chance to spend your summer holidays in a different way. At our center you can play Tennis, Mini golf or rent a pedal boat or kayak. We also have wide range of activities for your little ones like speed boat, electric cars, air castle.
I was with a group of friends at Cervar Sport Center in August 2017, Marcel as a host was kind and very welcoming, explaining all the activities he offers, and then recommending us what with one that suited us most according to our preferences. The beach is clean, and the sea is crystal blue so we took a pedal rental and enjoyed it for the afternoon. Excellent, very reliable, affordable and definitely worth it!

In an area that served as an intersection for communication and roads ever since, besides the Baredine cave as a natural monument, you can also visit an ethno story devoted to agriculture. It shows various items, machines and numerous photographs and documents closely linked to the history of this area and its people. The story starts with a threshing floor, next to which there is an exhibition on wheat threshing and the invention and development of threshing machines. The exhibition continues with a permanent exhibition of about fifty historic tractors and various types of engines called ,,Tractor story". Particularly prominent is an old Fordson tractor from 1923, the first tractor in our village, as well as an old engine with a heated head, which was used to run a mill in Porec at the beginning of the last century. In the exclusive area of the Konobon Gallery you can learn more about the story of the Mediterranean trilogy - bread, wine and olive oil, all present in this are from the period of Antiquity, the medieval period until the present moment. Along with these Exhibitions, the central part is an area, where various other Exhibitions are presented and the wine cellar where guest can savour authentic products of this area.
If you are interested in the history of farming, old machinery, or just want to see some tractors, this is the place for you. Two amusing tractors are made by Porsche and Ferrari.
Not worth a detour, but if you are visiting the caves, and the weather is nice, it's a relaxing way to spend 45 minutes.

This cave has just been opened recently. It is a cave 20 to 60 meters below and it has 12 million years old stalagmiti and stalagtiti. Our kids loved visiting the cave. It is not a big cave. The visit takes 30 to 60 minutes. You get a guide and she gives a nice presentation.

For a wander through a beautiful authentic hill-top village, we loved Groznjan. It is set atop a hill not far from Novograd and Motovun. On the day we visited, they were practising opera in a room opening out onto one of the many small squares. It was a sublime experience to stand and listen to the arias being rehearsed accompanied by a grand piano and exquisitely rendered. I could have stayed all day to listen, but our kids quickly lost interest so we moved on. They have urged me to score down the rating as there is not much of excitement for younger children, but for me it was a high spot of our time in Istria.

Used to be available for free, but nowadays parking is charged. Still, the beach is nice, close to the town and shopping if hunger pops up, and there is even some shade under the old pines.

Really enjoyed a quiet week here, it was great just wandering around the coast, harbours, shops, and endless choice of restaurants. All good, nobody hassling you, seafood fresh from the boats. Plenty of trips on offer if that's your thing, and the new town is nearby if you need to buy anything other than souvenirs.
