This isn’t a wildlife park, it’s a zoo, with nearly all of the animals kept in cages and pens. I just wanted to leave as soon as possible and was quite distressed by the experience.

Recommended by local friends as a good trash n treasure market. Got there about 12.30 and people packing up already even though it closed at 2pm. Good range of items from junk to "china town" goods. Didnt try food but it looked popular and smelled good. Glad we went and walked around.

Blacktown Leisure Centre, Stanhope

Reviewed By Jeff R - Sydney, Australia

I am a resident near this establishment . I have attended the swim centre over the years . It is a pool with a wave machine aand a smaller pool for lessons as well as a 25 meter pool . The only place to recreational swim is the wave pool . Which is good except it gets overcrowded . Only suitable to stand in the water and the waves come at intervals . The 25 meter pool is laned off and not to be used for social swimming . Standing room only in the wave pool with the crowd and there is only 5 to 10 people using the lane pool . I have spoken to the manager and they feel that the lane pool should be reserved for the people wanting to do laps . Overcrowded in the wave pool but lack of use in the lane pool .
To ad insult to the day the wave pool was closed to be decontaminated as there was someone had soiled the pool . What a disgrace . never again . I will drive to another suburb to use their pool . I can walk to the Leisure Centre .
