From the moment you arrive, everyone will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Relaxed and elegant atmosphere. Exquisite Gewurztraminer. Extraordinary concoctions. Black truffle dishes incorporated into the 5-course menu we had selected. Open kitchen. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Chef Hardiquest: you gave us a memorable experience today. Thank you!

A birthday treat, this was the first time we went to De Linde in its new location. Nice surroundings and a mildly friendly waiter attended to our Seating. The more senior host (one of the owners I believe) was very friendly and helpful in getting our table sorted for an extra seat.
What was overly obvious and placed an annoying un-comfort on our party was the mediocre behaviour of their youngest waiter. Lacking any kind of personal skills he certainly did not impress us with his attitude especially in a restaurant of this stature. At one point he placed two bowls only marginally filled with Béarnaise sauce on the table saying frankly 'we'd have to share them'! Overall the food was average, I ordered the steak cooked 'Bleu' however, it came out medium/rear, one other person in our party who also had the steak was served one only half the thickness of the other steaks served. You would also expect a decent cup of coffee in a place like this but out came weak filtered coffee which tasted as bland as that from the coffee machine at the petrol station. However friendly the owners were, I hope we caught them on a bad day or this place may have peaked sometime ago.

Family night / evening meal to the restaurant. Our 5 year son wanted to eat out late in a local restaurant. We went in approximately 1800hrs. Table was reserved.
Meet with glumly faces and a very poor attitude. Meal was good , time to wait was reasonable. Fun watching the pizzas being made with our son . Throughout our 1hr stay the staff , except the guy behind the bar, who had a smile and was interacting with customers. As for the rest I would strongly recommend a customer service course and teach them to interact and make the customer feel welcomed .

I have visited about 5 times in the last couple of years. The restaurant is quite small but cosy and well presented. There is a varied menu with meat, fish, pasta and salad options, so a good choice whatever your taste. The meat dishes have been well presented, good quality and cooked well. The down side is that it is a little expensive and it is generally served with a small selection of vegetables (But tasty!) and the menu doesn't seem to change.
I have also tried the salads which are pretty good. The staff have consistently been friendly, polite and accommodating too. It is a lovely place for a romantic meal or to go with friends and it's not too formal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This is all you expect from an Italian pizza place. Simple interior with a few small tables, a chef/owner who handles everything in different languages. He makes pizzas while taking orders on the phone and serving customers. He is always cheerful and friendly. And the pizzas? Delicious!

Wonderful prixe fixe menus - Menu Tradition & Menu Prestige
Always a great traditional Belgian meal with exemplary service! Whenever we return to Belgium we make it one of our "must meal" stops. The restaurant is small and cozy and its interior depicts a very traditional European feel. Upon entering, you are quickly greeted and seated (recommend Reservations as it's usually very crowded). We have always ordered from either the Menu Traditional or Menu Prestige Prix Fixe offerings and have never been disappointed. The service is always attentive yet discreet and the atmosphere is is pleasant with diners conversing in French, Flemish, and occasionally English. Parking in the area is always a challenge but we've always managed to find a spot in their private parking area in the back of the restaurant. It's always a pleasant dining experience on all ends!

Au Flan Breton is now also a welcoming establishment where you can quietly enjoy delicious, artisanal creations coming fresh from the oven of our bakery or from the culinary craftsmanship of our head cook.
Waiter left us 10 minutes waiting for the menus, 10 more for drinks ... You see the pattern emerging?
Food was good, spaghetti bolo, prawns in garlic and pasta with bacon (which was way over salted) but around nice.
The place was quite busy but the waiter was just disinterested in everything and everyone.
We ordered cakes from the bakery next door but had a surcharge of 3€ on a 2.95€ cake bringing it to 5.95€ which we thought was a little bit steep!
Taking everything into account I would only give the experience 4/10 so not a place I would recommend.

Tervuren doesn't have many places to choose from when it comes to dinning out. Some are fast food/snack huts and others look like they might really make you ill if you ate there. This place doesn't look like much from the outside but it does have a large selection of local beers. Some of these are wonderful, try Tervuna. They have a limited menu but it is very good. I had the trio of Brussells specialities which consistent of meatball in tomato sauce, rich beef stew and chicken stew with a generous portion of fries. All very good if a bit heavy on the protein. It is obviously a favorite for locals -another a good sign. We went on a friday night and most of the tables were reserved.

Went here last week with a Korean friend to try a new Korean restaurant around. We know the 2 real Korean restaurants in Brussels by heart already. The food is great here, so is the Korean beer imported through Germany. The location is nice, the interior beautiful. Only critique is that some of the food is VERY spicy. Nevertheless, we'll be back.
