When you're fed up of traditional Tibetan fare this place is great. Nice big balcony, good menu (best range of veggie friendly options), friendly staff & good bar (although get used to the altitude before you hit the red wine)

This is a very popular restaurant that serves all the international tourists in a very spacious dining area. Their menu is so big that they have different choices for bread, pancakes, potatoes, beverage and they serve continental, sandwiches, Italian, Chinese, soup, Nepali, Indian and of course Tibetan. We arrived around 1:30 pm in the peak of lunch hour. It was packed and we were lucky to get the last available table. Despite their busyness serving large groups, food came in quickly. We ordered Indian, Chinese and Tibetan momo. The food was good and we were happy. They are not overly priced either. It was a good choice for lunch.

Delicious lattes when you are craving western coffee! They make their coffee with bottled water. We had pizza there for lunch one day & it was delicious. We were so hungry for western style food after 8 days traveling around Tibet. Muffins are also very tasty. They also have art work & jewelry of high quality for sale. And best of all a western bathroom!

Foods were very salty in unreasonably small portion. Drinks had strange taste (banana lassi was unreasonably sour and ice cream yoghurt milkshake was too sweet) Absolutely not worth such expensive price.
Waitress were not willing to serve us that they pretended haven't notice our call and shown bad face when we insisted on asking them for help.
I don't understand why it is ranked so high. Terrible experience.

Serving American, Indian, Nepali, and Tibetan cuisine, this restaurant is a great place to come to for some variety and awesome selection of dishes.

We ate here as a group, but got to order separately. Nice location, right downtown, but the restaurant faces a peaceful courtyard (we ate inside in the cool weather) away from the hustle and bustle outside. Varied menu that included Nepali and Indian cuisine as well as Tibetan and Chinese. The Chicken Tikka was delicious as was the dal bread. A nice surprise was an espresso bar! A very enjoyable experience -- I wish that we had had a little more time to linger there.

Tasty, reasonably priced Tibetan cuisine. Great place to grab a nice cold beer while enjoying delicious food.

Four of us had dinner here in the upstairs restaurant that was very easy to find. We had the vegetable bobe on the recommendation of people leaving as we entered as well as shared a yak burger which was very good. The other dishes were also tasty, I just don't remember what we ate except always the French fries! The decor is Tibetan and the waitress speaks English. Menu has pictures which is helpful. It is very reasonably priced as well. Definitely recommend it!
