Fourth time here and not one disappointment. The food is great, another level in comparison to any other restaurant in Melbourne. The service fantastic and professional with some of the best Italians in Australia. The owner is a careful and caring person, always there, for anything you need. If I could I would come back tomorrow

There’s a touch of quality about everything at Centanove and it’s probably a cut above most other restaurants around Kew, particularly if you’re looking for something a little more elegant for that special night out. Service is first class, the wine list is varied and the food, including the yummy bread, absolutely fresh.

We ate here many years ago and returned to enjoy the excellent and very tasty food. The two main ordered were just right, plenty of vegetables, sauce, meat and other ingredients.
I suppose the atmosphere is not a highlight as in other establishments but the friendly service and wonderful food make up for this. Take away is a lot cheaper and just as good and can be great option if one wishes to eat at home.
We shall return again in the near future and would recommend this restaurant for a wonderful and enjoyable meal.

Thought we'd drop in and try this revamped Pizzeria one Friday night recently and weren't disappointed.
It is a small bustling Pizzeria with a great friendly atmosphere, excellent food - especially the wood-fire olives, pizza (various) and quail & parmigiana risotto, a good drinks selection and attentive service.
It is one of the better Italian/Pizza experiences we've had in the area. It gets busy, so I would suggest booking a table, especially on your traditionally busy end of week/weekends.

When I think of places to go for great dining Ivanhoe doesn’t spring to mind. It should just for having Va Tutto!
Friendly welcoming staff, delicious food and great wine list! The variety of choices on the menu are amazing. Attentive staff, meals served with perfect timing - never rushed or left feeling forgotten. It’s a little noisy but really that just adds to the happy welcoming atmosphere. And check out the artwork that is the individual pavlova!

Was here couple of times years ago and found most dishes rather too sweet. Recent visit has revised my view of the food. I believe the owners have remained the same and continue to make some (undisclosed) contribution to charity/orphanage in Thailand.
The staff are generally very friendly, attentive and informative. The place is a "table cloth and linen napkins" restaurant; not your suburban cafe/takeaway. I dislike the high back leather "couch"/booth seats; they are very uncomfortable. The other dining chairs are not the most comfortable either. However, the place is well-lit and the music played quietly in the background.
We had yellow beef curry, green chicken curry and a vegetable coconut milk "curry". All were very tasty and well balanced. Good mix of meat and vegetables. The rice was cooked perfectly - not soggy, not dry.
However, do not plan to have any traditional Thai (or Asian) desserts because the offerings were very much western with no coconut, banana, sago or palm sugar in sight. :)
The one criticism of Paladarr is that it is expensive for serving sizes that are at the smaller end of the spectrum. Most servings were not much more than a standard rice bowl size.

Atmosphere was relaxed and lovely. First course disappointing, we we told when served that the dish was new, “Forest Mushroom and Corn”. The bacon tasted incredibly salty and although full points for imagination, having popcorn in my entree was not okay. The Pork main meal however was one of the best I have tasted combining pork with stone fruit. The side - Duck fat roasted potatoes, garlic and sea salt was incredibly over salted and I love salt. No wonder ther was no salt on the tables. We had 2 desserts and although okay, werent that nice that we would want them again next time. The staff were attentive, however no one bothered to ask us how we found the meal like many restaurants do. Also I had been given a $200 voucher by work colleagues. We forgot to bring it with us. I thought they could look us up because the voucher was in my name and I had details of who gave it to me. I was told that the physical voucher was required. That doesn’t seem right or else what would stop someone presenting the same voucher multiple times so seemed very inflexible. If I didn’t have to go back to redeem the voucher I wouldn’t chose this restaurant personally try Juno and May in Camberwell, same atmosphere, better food.

Converted from an old car yard and established in February 2006, Plaka resembles a typical old style restaurant that would not look out of place in any city, small country town or island in Greece. Seating 120 people in comfort, Plaka offers a great experience for large groups or private functions. If it's a quick bite or a relaxed all night dinner, Plaka is perfect for the occasion, accompanied with an ouzo or two, Mythos or Fix beer. Wine is also available by the glass or bottle and stocks local varieties and the most popular imports. With large corner windows and a huge courtyard out front for alfresco dining in the warmer months, you and your guests will be very impressed with the atmosphere, service and quality Plaka offers. Plaka has set the new benchmark for traditional Greek cuisine!
Deciding to give a different Greek restaurant a look, we went to PLAKA on a Friday evening. The location is OK, overlooking an intersection and it was open and airy. There is a large forecourt area for outdoor dining which would be nice on warmer evenings and inside it was sparse but pleasant. The food is your traditional greek fare, Saganaki, salads, tzatziki, gyros and so on.
We had the Saganaki ($12) , Tzatziki ($8), mixed Gyros ($33) & mixed salad ($11).
The saganaki was a bit rubbery but OK, the tzatziki was pretty good value as the serving size and breads that went with it were plentiful. Normally you get a large slab of tzatziki and 4 small bits of bread, not here - we got a good helping of bread which is good.
The mixed gyros was tasty, but the serving size for our $33 fell well short. There was enough meat to fill an average sized souvlaki you would get after leaving a nightclub. While it was enough for the 2 of us with all the other things we ate, the price to serving ration was way...way off. This was a little disappointing as for $33 I was expecting a lot more. If there were more than 2 of you, you would need an extra serving. The Horiatiki salad was OK, usual bits, lettuce, tomato, cucumber etc etc with oil.
Overall, PLAKA was OK. Maybe my expectations were a bit high based on other Greek restaurants where the food is plentiful, but the $33 for the mixed Gyros was a bit rich.
Would we return...probably not.

Private party which catered for everyone's dietary needs, including Vegan, Vegetarian, Dairy free & Gluten free. The food was amazing & everyone was more than satisfied . The Arancini balls ,Lamb ribs,& Octopus Bruschetta were very yummy. The fact we were able to book the place out (25 people) meant we could put up our own decorations. The kids happily tucked into the Spaghetti & Pizza, & took great joy in asking for music requests later in the evening. The owners couldn't have been more obliging, a wonderful night had by all.
