Fort McMurray (/mɪkˈmʌri/ mik-MURR-ee) is a population centre, technically classified as an urban service area, in the Regional Municipality (RM) of Wood Buffalo in Alberta, Canada. It is located in northeast Alberta, in the middle of the Athabasca oil sands, surrounded by boreal forest. It has played a significant role in the development of the national petroleum industry. A severe wildfire in May 2016 led to the evacuation of its residents and caused widespread damage.

Went to earls to see how things were post renovation. .. our server was nice enough but drink order took 10-15mins, she left the menus on table, the teapots were only half full with water, and could barely ask her for something before she would run away again. I used to come to earls alot, the food is not as good as it used to be .. pizza was overdone and the crust was like cardboard. not too mention the lounge is so bright now its hard to relax. Lastly, not sure what theyre doing with the dresscode now but its not good ... servers looked so unprofessional in jeans. overall a very big departure from the earls i loved, doubt ill be back anytime soon unfortunately.

When business took me to Fort McMurray for the first time I soon discovered that it is not exactly a diners' paradise. I was pleased to discover a notable exception in the Fuji Japanese Restaurant. It was some of the best Japanese food I have had anywhere! The service was also extremely friendly and prompt, and there was a happy, busy buzz about the room.

One of the best steaks I've had in recent memory. Enjoyed the "Baseball" sirloin. Available whiskies and wine make for an even more enjoyable evening. Very popluar restaurant. Get there early, even on a weekday.

Good lunch fast service in a clean restaurant up in timberlea. Nice to have the snow cover pond across the road. Good food sushi combo was excellent, the tea was served hot and the miso soup was prompt and excellent. First time here and I will certainly come back again.

Restaurants attached to hotels, can always be spotty. With the temp outside -20 and still dropping and the car already plugged in, Prime Social Kitchen was my easy choice. It was quiet to be sure with only a few tables occupied. Needless, I was greeted immediately and given a choice of wherever I wished to seat. I had time to kill and the service fit the tempo of my evening as I finished off some work and caught up on current news. There was no soup available but I believe I was only thinking that direction because of the weather. I was wavering between choices but I hit on the lamb shank and enjoyed it immensely. The shank was resting on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes, crunchy turnip, little pearl onions and everything drizzled with dark brown gravy. I was in heaven. I was now properly settled in my laid back night so, dessert was actually calling to me. I was fascinated with the apple crumble from the description and it was a perfect close for the evening. The crumble is more a very large slab of crumble square. It is served on a sizzling hot flat iron pan and is packed full of large apple slices. A scoop of vanilla sits high on top and this finish to my dinner had me smiling all the way back to my room. If you are staying up on the hill, make Prime Social Kitchen in the Radisson, one of your dinner stops. You won't be disappointed!

Good location; atmosphere was a little much; lots of noise and hustle bustle; if that's what you are digging, then it's all good. Sub par pub food.

Clean, decent food and service. I think the very small side salad was way over-priced. The lasagna as hot but not very spicy.
