Dilijan (Armenian: Դիլիջան), is a spa town and urban municipal community in the Tavush Province of Armenia. Usually called Armenian Switzerland or Little Switzerland by the locals, it is one of the most important resorts of Armenia, situated within the Dilijan National Park. The forested and reclusive town is home to numerous Armenian artists, composers, and filmmakers and features some traditional Armenian architecture. The Sharambeyan street in the centre, has been preserved and maintained as an "old town", complete with craftsman's workshops, a gallery and a museum. Hiking, mountain biking, and picnicking are popular recreational activities.

We had read some negative reviews of this restaurant and our guide said that it had not been very good in 2015. However we enjoyed a most enjoyable meal by selecting 3 vegetarian Armenian dishes and a bottle of white wine from Norovank. Highly recommended. Perhaps a little more expensive than other places but still worth it.

The restaurant is set in a beautiful garden alongside a river, with rustic wood cabins where guests feed on traditional Armenian delicacies, like fish, bbq pork chops, chicken, and traditional dishes such as stuffed cabbage leaves filled with minced meat. The food is very tasty, salads are fresh, and the setting is very romantic and soothing. In general, I found restaurant prices in Armenia very affordable. If you visit Tilijan, then this is a must go.

Finding western Armenian/mid-eastern foods outside of Yerevan is pretty much impossible, but this place will do if you have a craving for something different other than typical Armenian bbq dishes. Probably about 3km from the centre, should take a taxi or walk on the highway like we did for 45 minutes. The food was not bad, but not amazing either. Dilijan lacks variety when it comes to restaurants, so if you're looking for something different, it's good. A little on the pricey side.

Food was fresh and delicious! Ordered a mix of different things and literally everything was some of the best Middle Eastern/Syrian-Armenian food I've tried. Customer service was great. The only down side is that all of the areas to eat are private rooms, great for family gatherings, but a bit lonely if its just a few people

Excellent location! On the way to Goshavank, surrounded with cold mountain river and a hill with dense forrest. It has got everything to accomodate short term family stay.
Tastfully furnished cottage rooms oversee surroundings from above. Clean and shiny permises. Kids get a pool, they will also have alot of fun in volleyball field.
The food!... The food being served is the best you can get in the area. Most of it is organic, "home grown" or from local farmers. Don't forget to ask for home brew "Kompot".
The staff is very friendly and forthcoming. The cook has some good secret recepies :) I never had a deer meat prepared the way he did. It was delisious.
In other words this is the place where one must go if you are in the area.

Surprised to see latte, cappuccino and other types of coffee here. Locally made croissants were very tasty. Nice place to visit with family.

The cutest little cafe with the simplest of facades.
The waitress took great care over our order of coffees, hot chocolates, ham/cheese sandwiches & croissants. It was all of excellent quality.
The cafe is fresh & clean
Clearly a great deal of attention has been paid to cleanliness.

W końcu normalne ceny - 7zl latte, 6zl cappuccino, milion ciastek do wyboru, przemiła obsługa. Spokojne miejsce do siedzenia, kawki podają na miejscu i na wynos. Zdecydowanie polecam dla ludzi którym żal wydać 15zl za jedną kawę.

On our way from Armenia to Georgia, we reached Dilijan during lunch and ended up in this beautiful restaurant. everything we ordered was delicious, from the fresh tomato and cucumber salads (we ordered twice) to their other starters including a local soup and ending with the barbecued Pork and the local specialty called Papkaderev. something not to be missed.
