Sweet Jenny's has a great menu with the largest variety of selections for a terrific lunch. The food we ordered was excellent and the service staff very professional. All the meals ordered were visually attractive and quite delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal and all had a good time. It is a "go to" place for a terrific lunch.

I like most things about this shop except for the candy and I know candy. For the price, the quality is not what is should be. I have heard the same comments from others. I would visit regularly if I liked the candy better. They should change brands.

Nice quiet eatery on Hwy 72, just east of Rte 9...Manera's offers an excellent selection of Italian specialties, go for lunch and for $9-$12, get a delicious meal for a great price. Favorites are Seafood Fra Diablo, Veal Piccata and Clams Oreganata.

This place started going down hill but since they switched back to the old menu it's reclaimed it's delicious bar food! Family friendly, but sometimes a little loud, I like going there when bands aren't playing or games aren't on tv, otherwise you won't be able to hear anyone

We're visiting in South Jersey, to settle a family member's estate, and were cheered by discovering a gift certificate to The German Butcher Shop in his Christmas mail. The couple who gave it to him agreed that he would have wanted us to enjoy it as much as we did.
We headed off to Forked River on the eve of the east coast's first blizzard of the new year, and it was mobbed with people stocking up on wursts before the storm hit. Higher on the priority list, obviously, than shovels and ice melt.
Even though the place was slammed, the counter staff was friendly and efficient, helping us through our order. We got dinner to go, and fish and chips for lunch.
Would I recommend fish and chips from a butcher shop? I don't know about anywhere else, but these were the best chips and fried fish we've had in a long time! Coming up for dinner: a massive platter of wursts and pork chop, and a Reuben the size of my head. We won't go hungry tonight either!
Thank you, Barsch family!

Stopped by while on a business trip. Awesome. The pancakes are great, the bacon is great. So glad we found it.

I've ordered dishes cooked here, bought bread, cookies, and soup made here, all of which is excellent. My only problem is that we stopped going because the prices were higher than elsewhere. true, you get what you pay for, but we felt it could be a bit more affordable. I'm sure the market has many customers, or it wouldn't be around long, but for those of us on a retirement budget, sadly, we have to find another, more affordable market. Still, if you can afford the prices, try the market. The food cooked right there is quite good.

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday in November. They were very busy and all the food looked appetizing including the market part with fresh seafood.
We had oysters from the local Mullica river and fried pickles, then the crab cake and fries. The oysters were great, my husband loved them. Fried pickles were good. The crab cake was all meat which is a good thing but I prefer more flavor.
We want to come back in summer for fresh crabs and more seafood. Thank you

What a great spot! Stopped in on a Sunday with some friends while out on our bikes. After riding almost a hundred miles we came across Doyle's. Greeted quickly to a high top table we sat. Being a Sunday, everywhere you look, there is a tv. Hosting football on this day but have what's popular for the time. Bottles were cold which was my preference. Others who had tap said it was good. Meaning the lines are clean and cold. I read about this place being a best of for wings. Of course we had to try and we were not disappointed. Sad nj magazine didn't give them a higher spot for wings. Had the captain morgans spicy back on the grill. Wow! Unique in their own way. For the time we were there it was busy and the service was great. Didn't have to wait or ask for anything. Looking around, neither did other guests. The staff works together and it shows. Great decor that keeps your eyes looking for more. They have a pool table too. Bathrooms are clean and newer. If you plan to visit and your on a bike, the parking lot is paved so no worries. Access from main (rt9) or bay ave. Looking forward to making another Sunday run to this place. Next time I'll be sure to tell more people.

Full Service Restaurant & Bar offering something for any palate or pocketbook. Two distinct dining areas: The Tavern, Casual with a Bar, TV's, hightops & booths. The Dining Room: More formal with White Table Cloth Service. Same Great Menu. We also have an adjoining Banquet room for up to 70 people, Outdoor Seating (weather permitting), and offer Full-Service Off-Premise Catering.
Go! You will not be disappointed. Lively bar scene situated away from quiet dining area. Food is great as is Service. Very accommodating. Enjoy
