This was an incredible spa therapy experience! I am unused to such pampering but Aoife made it a pleasure with her attention to detail and calm, unhurried and serene nature which encourages relaxation and an all round extremely enjoyable experience. Aoife has a lovely manner and treats her clients with respect and gentleness while being extremely professional.
I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone for some enjoyable 'time-out'.

We spent a lazy afternoon wandering around Sean Park and exploring everything it had to offer.
My imagination ran wild, I could hear the wings of the fairies as they skirted around us, I could feel the nature and positivity as I turned each and every corner.
A great place for adults and kids alike!

Fantastic, friendly, foodie fun pub. On the day we visited a local pop kitchen. The haven smoke house had the helm with a seafood BBQ featuring their own organic smoked salmon and other local delights from the nearby ocean. I've never tasted smoked salmon so delicate and soft, great local craft beers to match, thankfully the smoked salmon can purchased just up the road ask for directions behind the bar

At first, we did not find the sea arch. Tripadvisor is having troubles to show the correct location. Signs just stopped for no reason. On the way from Doagheg to Fanad lighthouse, after turning right at a T-crossing with an official sign, look for a private white sign mentioning Great Arch cottage. Or go to Doaghbeg's gasoline station and ask Malachy for directions (and fill up your tank in the meantime). A narrow turnpike is the start of your 15 minute walk. The path wil feel like trespassing (look for broken barbewire), is very steep at some stage and can be slippery and muddy. Not easy in typical Irish weather conditions, but worth the effort!

Fort Dunree is situated 7 miles outside Buncrana on the Inishowen Peninsula, housing a Military Museum, Wildlife Discovery Room, Coffee Shop, stunning walks and majestic views of Lough Swilly it is a must for every visitor to Donegal
This impressive fort was originally built as a Royal Navy position during the Napoleonic Wars. So it’s over 200 years old now and still standing.
It is located on windy roads about 8 miles or so from Buncrana on the Inishowen peninsula. There’s plenty of free parking and the natural views are really impressive.
We spent over an hour going around. On arrival at the reception to pay we were directed into a film that explained the history of the area and it was interesting to find that even after Irish independence and the creation of the state there was an agreement with Britain that its troops would continue to keep operational control of the fort as it was considered strategically significant.
Those days are now long gone. Today the fort is a military museum with fascinating Exhibitions, and many displays about the birds, marine life and coastal vegetation of the area. It has a gift shop, an auditorium and trail walks.
There’s also a nearby coffee shop that serves up savoury & sweet treats, it offers free WiFi and it’s a very pleasant way to relax after a visit to the fort.
