We had an amazing dinner starting pasta with wild boar ragu. We continued on with veal chop topped with Porcini mushrooms and filet of beef. Both outstanding. This restaurant is expensive but the food was very good. Don’t miss an opportunity to dine here while visiting Paso Robles and be sure to make a restaurant. Enjoy!

Paso Terra is a high end Seafood restaurant, serving seafood from all around the world. While Chef Andre is a classically trained chef in France, his cuisine spans the globe. Our seafood is always fresh daily, organic and sustainable. We only serve wild caught fish.
This is an intimate dining experience, don't expect piles of french fries, but this is french cuisine at it's finest. I have various food allergies and they were very accommodating. I had the butterfish with a citrus vinaigrette and my husband had steak with a red wine sauce. They were both delicious. Many desserts were gluten-free too. It's not cheap, but well worth it for a special occasion.

The Hatch Rotisserie & Bar specializes in wood-fired comfort food, craft & classic cocktails, and an extensive whiskey selection. It is small and bustling and reservations are always recommended. A full dinner menu is served at the 15-seat bar (no reservations) and the dining room includes an assortment of banquette seating (half booth) and high top tables. Dinner service starts at 4:30 PM daily. Children are welcome however there is no kids menu or high chairs/boosters available due to space constraints. Please contact the restaurant directly with special seating or dining requests.
Had high expectations for this place... great ambiance and nice wine selection. Likely a different experience had we ordered differently (others raved about what they have had or were having). We each ordered the Hatch burger and were disappointed. Was a literal hot mess... fell apart, undercooked, sloppy. Bacon over-whelmed the flavor profile - as was super smoky, greasy (no crispiness). Might go back if ever in town again, but would surely order differently.

Closed on Tuesdays.
For our first visit to Palo Robles, my buddy and I ordered the signature dishes - Brazilian seafood stew and linguisa sausage paella/ risotto, and they really hit the spot.
Arriving reasonably quickly (these dishes are prone to long waits) and perfectly sized for 1 person, we gobbled every bite. With no alcohol, we were out the door for about $45 prior to tip.
They also had a nice string band on this Sunday, adding to the charm!.

Delightful , energetic staff welcome you . Menu is full of traditional and original Italian dishes , with some carefully converted into excellent specialities of this memorable restaurant. As European visitors , we assess this as equal to any in UK and Italy .

So ... we LOVED this restaurant. It has the perfect ambiance and a delicious chef-driven menu - that je ne sais quoi - to make a meal or event memorable. We got engaged here, and are hoping to return every year. Can't say enough about this place, except ... bring your appetite and thirst (they have a fantastic wine list and a sommelier who pairs very well). Thanks, Laurent!

Fast service. Eggs cooked perfectly. Menu uninspired. Bacon over cooked. Hash browns tasteless but crispy. Coffee marginal. No real half and half. Just the packaged stuff. Just an average diner for breakfast. Live in town and might try other options first. It’s Soring Street but the sign is almost invisible. Not a huge fan and won’t recommend to out of towners.

This was our first stop arriving into Paso. It was lunchtime and we were happy they offered a wine tasting along with food. We sat on the patio and thoroughly enjoyed a lovely meal and some great wine, doesn’t get much better than that. The crab cakes were so good. We will be back next trip!

Thomas Hill Organics is a farm-to-table restaurant dedicated to serving creative, fresh food and highlighting unique wines from the Central Coast. With a dynamic menu reflecting our local abundance, Thomas Hill Organics sources a vivid array of fresh ingredients to concoct bold, imaginative dishes. What began as a humble organic CSA showcasing the Central Coast’s bounty quickly evolved into a popular destination for creatively prepared, honest food.
I rarely complain about restaurant service. But on this visit to Thomas Hill the very poor service overshadowed everything else about the experience. It was worse than merely 'slow and inattentive' from the time we sat down until the time we left. It was abysmal. It took one hour and twenty minutes from the time we were seated until our meal was served. Several items in our dinner were served lukewarm. We don’t know if the problem was in the kitchen or with our server, or both.
Our server stopped by once after we were about three bites into the meal and we never saw him after that. We would have ordered a second glass of wine but never had the opportunity to do so. We again waited a long time after finishing our meal and having our plates cleared — during which time we were never offered coffee or dessert — until we finally had to ask a bus boy to get our check.
The meal, for the most part, was good. But the service was so bad it made the food irrelevant. With the amazing choices we have up and down the Central Coast, including other far better options in Paso Robles, we will not return here.
The Thomas Hill location in San Luis Obispo recently closed. We enjoyed outstanding service and food there. They should have moved those employees to Paso Robles.
