Have nothing bad to say about food, it was good but the whole experience was marred by the fact we were served food we didn't order as well as twice as much chicken as we ordered. The handwritten bill came without any explanation and we had to pay the amount the invented. Not clean guys, not clean.

This has got to be the filthiest eatery ever. ..place is strewn with rubbish and has and odd stench...soiled tissue paper and spilt curry on the floor with grimy tables...
Food is average. ..I really hope they do something about the cleanliness and hire someone to sweep and mop the floor. ..
Will never return!

Baboon house located in the heart of Melaka, parallel street with Jonker walk. I was amazed by how they turned historical building to nice restaurant but still preserving its old charm. I definitely fell in love with the place. Service was fast. Staffs were really welcoming. BUT I was disappointed by the food. The cheese burger was just average. I didn’t like that they put some kind of spice in the meat. Mint ice tea was excellent though.
In conclusion, I would come here for the ambient, but surely not for the food.

This is a south indian restaurant I stumbled across in the Little India district of Melaka. I love south indian vegetarian food and this was one of the best. I spoke with the manager afterwards and he gave me a card as my cousin who lives in Singapore is thinking of visiting.
I had the banana leaves there twice, I quite like it.
The roti masala is good! If you like something spicy. Quite filling too.
The masala tea was average for me, though. As I prefer stronger spice.
Another thing I don't fancy for most Indian restaurants in Melaka:they like to serve some cold beverages in takeaway plastic cup, and rasam in paper cup even if you dine in.

The Daily Fix is located inside a batik/souvenir shop called Next KK on Jalan Hang Jebat (Jonker Street). The menu includes pancakes, sandwiches, espresso and local coffee, fruit juice + beers.
You receive a very warm welcome when entering, it's always busy and you may not even get a seat straight away! Always a good sign though.
We've been twice already and had smoked ducks salads and chicken ciabattas which both were incredible. The mango and passion smoothie was fresh and delicious. We will be back for their renowned homemade pancakes and great coffee. Thanks for the good service.

The name of Kaya-kaya Cafe comes from a local spread known as “kaya”. It is generally rich in flavor and thick in texture. As such, our menu is created using the two keywords – richness and thickness. Our key vision is to promote more local specialties to foreigners. We elaborately design our fusion menu using our own local ingredients, such as salted egg chicken and sambal prawn, to serve with pasta. We serve food with kaya as well. Unlike the usual kaya that can be found everywhere, our kaya is especially homemade with duck eggs and Malacca sugar. One of the signature dishes that are served with kaya is “Malacca Elvis”; a pancake stack with sliced banana and kaya sandwiched in between, drizzled with homemade chocolate and peanut butter sauce. We also serve traditional dishes like “Yin Yong Toast” with kaya and butter and “Kaya Cheese Toast”.
I've tried their French toast which was served with blueberry purée, a scoop of ice cream and some almond chips. It was nice as it's not too sweet. However, it's a little too pricey for me. Anyway, it was a nice visit!

Salud means 'cheers' in Spanish and also, 'good health'. Salud Tapas is the newest restaurant in Malacca, where you can try really authentic Spanish food! You have the option to try the famous dishes of Spain, as TAPAS! Tapas, are small bites with big flavours. Salud Tapas, is a casual tapas bar with a fun atmosphere and has an open kitchen where you can see the chef cooking for you. It is a great place to socialise over drinks and exquisite, authentic Spanish tapas. Salud blends modernity with tradition, with authentic food presented with the modern style, and the decor with different spaces-like the long Terrace along the Street, to the open kitchen, to the voluminous bar upstairs, the traditional Malaccan centre courtyard, and a chillout area under the stars. Have you ever tried Spanish food? Now, you have the best opportunity to try authentic Spanish food, in the Malacca's heart! So come by to Salud and Salud! Salud Tapas Bar Where Spain comes to Malacca!!
Great food and fantastic Spanish wine. The owner was really friendly the rest of the staff were doing their job. My only complaint is that some music would really help with the atmosphere

Experience dining at a Retro-styled cafe backing the Melaka river in the Heritage Zone. One could choose to dine by the river and watch the cruise boats pass by; or at the indoor fan or air conditioned area. We serve cafe food : 'All Day Breakfast Sets', local Malaysian favourites and Western Food. Open daily from 8am to 10pm (kitchen closes at 9.30pm) and closed on Wednesdays.
We came upon the Riverview while walking along the river. Sat down for a beer and enjoyed the quietness of the location. We returned here two more times once for breakfast and once for dinner. Both meals were very good. Dinner we had 2 meals 4 beer and a dessert and the bill was 80 ringgit.

We visited this place due to its good reviews.Food was not bad.But was not fantastic either, especially for its price range. Most of the people who came either a foreigner or married to a foreigner, whom don't really know the authentic original taste.
Service is very good. Staffs are polite and nice. Place is also good. But we came for the food...
