Since 1971, Lucia Restaurant offers day fresh fish and seafood dishes. Our up-to-date cuisine style is authentic and balanced: we only use extra fresh foodstuff. Roberto, the Restaurant owner, purchase everyday fresh fish and vegetables from local markets in Giulianova and San Benedetto. His wife, Claudia, and his daughter Patrizia, thanks to their long run experience and creativity in the kitchen, prepare delicious and original dishes. Moreover, Paolo and his staff take absolute care of the Guests in the restaurant halls, carrying them on amazing tasty experience.
Good food but what was outstanding - attitude to clients and high level of service. Wonderful vinelist, a lot of local vines. Rich starters, even bigger then it should be. A kind of a halfstep to haute cuisine - with interesting combinations of fish and fruits/sauses. I was surprised with strong ammonia smell of scampii claw, and the dish was replaced in a seconds. The rest was extremly good.

On a small back street in Giulianova, and a wonderful meal, one of the best this trip. The antipasti alone would make the meal memorable - over a dozen different ones, from crudi (raw) to warm, all different types of fish and shellfish including one we'd never had before. The swordfish mains was good, the vegetables with it less so.
The fun part was watching the servers and the ballet around the whole thing, it was quite amazing. Really good wines, and a fun artisanal beer too.

The place is a bit further from the touristic center of Giulianova, but it was definitely worth the drive. We decided to go there after Reading reviews saying that locals go there for the last 30 years and they have never been dissapointed and we weren't either.
The place has a nice menu, but there are no other dish that could compete with chef's speciality - grilled lamb on the spiers. Simply the best lamb dish I have ever tried!
Another big reason for popularity among locals are prices - very affordable.

no other words to describe this place other than amazing... immensely abundant antipasto (no need to order any course after it), fantastic house wine, cheap prices. how much better can it get? oh-and the owners are super friendly and service is quick (even on a saturday packed with locals). can't wait go back!

Go try the fresh seafood from the Adriatic - and be prepared to eat! the antipasti goes on forever (in a good way). If you have a shellfish allergy, tell them first. We had wine, antipasti and small pasta dishes, it was perfect. The atmosphere is very local, and as a gay couple we caused a sensation among some of the older patrons, mama mia! But the staff was super nice, it was not at all a problem, just a long way from New York City.

So on the basis of the TA ratings and a recommendation from our villa owner we ventured into Giulianova to try this place. It's situated on a road running away from the main road running along the beach and tucked away behind another building. The decor us unusual with a rather odd painted ceiling effect that didn't really work for me. Sadly it was difficult to see what the positive reviews are all about simply because the food was largely disappointing. Of the dishes ordered by our large party not one would merit significant praise. If anything there was an over-reliance on adorning the dishes with what looked like small crayfish. Impressive to look at but bereft of any real culinary value as they contain very little meat of minimal flavour. Disappointing

Loved loved loved this restaurant, which was recommended to us by our host in Giulianova. The restaurant is situated in a picturesque square of the old town, with the white tablecloth-covered tables placed right on the cobbled street. We had the best surprise of having fresh delicious seafood, possibly best in all our 13 city trip through Italy. It was lightly dusted in flour and flash fried. Not greasy, still smelling of the sea. Amazing!
We also had pasta with bacalao (salted cod) and hazelnuts and it was a very unique and memorable meal.
P.S. At the end of the evening a thunderstorm began, and although we were less than a kilometer away we would've been soaked to the bone on the walk home. The owner of the restaurant was kind enough to drive us home. How amazing is that?

An impeccable staff, beautiful service, incredible food selection and great quality food.
We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.
It is in a great location, close to the beach and town centre of Giulianova, lovely setting with plenty of outdoor/indoor seats where you will be looked after really well. I would recommend Mille Idee unreservedly to anyone who enjoys a great atmosphere, traditional and authentic Italian Cuisine.
During our stay in Italy, we had lunch at Mille Idee every day, my two children loved gnocchi and cremini!!!
Grazie mille to Mauro, Anna and all the staff at Mille Idee.

We enjoyed a sunny sunday there with friends - the club is stylish and not as overcrowded as other clubs. Staff was flexible and organised sunbeds and ombrelloni for us although we didn't book in advance. Lunch was really good with a fabulous atmosphere and nice waiters. Prices are absolutely ok, considering the beachfront location and great design: e.g. bottle of local white wine € 15,-, seafood pasta € 12,-
