"Tierra del Sol" is a small pizza takeaway, the ideal place to enjoy a good pizza, in our menu you will find several specialties like puccia gallipolina, the baguettes with pizza dough, chips and a variety of rotisserie. Come and visit us, we are waiting to delight your palate.
We decided to it a try thanks to good reviews on TA. Place is small, very plain and not very appealing to sit at but they make good pizzas. They come in three sizes piccola (small), standard and maxi. And standard is already quite large. Pizza bufala was a good choice - hot, straight from the oven. Bottled beer available on site.

I have neapolitan roots and my grandmother used to prepare many typical Neapolitan dishes like the parmigiana. Apart from the ones I ate in Naples I could only find the flavours which my grandmothers parmigiana emanated in this place. This positive association is reinforced by the location which gives u the sensation that u are in some little street somewhere in Naples.
I recommend "o pallon' e Maradon'" as a starter and I also recommend u to try all desserts whose fantastic flavours I cannot describe with words. Regarding the Pizza I can say: Neapolitan style. Therefore it is the REAL Pizza which u will also find in Naples where the Pizza was invented. The products used for every single dish are high quality products! Thanks Domenico see u next time!

Very good food, service and drinks. Huge array of beer and wine. The food was first class and the wine too. Not many people there on a Friday night in late October but still a first class venue. More restaurant than wine bar though - perhaps the name is a little mis-leading ???
Web site opening hours need to be updated as the first time we went it was closed although TA and their own site said they were open

My wife and I enjoyed an absolutely brilliant meal here during our 4 day cycling trip around the Salentino. We shared their fantastic 7 course fish anti pasta, two wonderful pasta dishes, a lovely bottle of local red wine, water and coffee, all for 75 euro. The staff were very helpful and friendly, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

We've been touring Italy for 16 days, and the best meals have always been in the agriturismos. Out of the agemriturismo"s dinners,, this was one of the best. We were offered five appetizers, an incredible pasta with eggplant and sausage, and have a choice of fried fish or grilled meat. Also a choice of desserts. For variety and quality, this place can't be beat. Forget traditional restaurants, and go here. My only complaint is there was too much food. This place is run by such lovely people.

Went there for lunch. It opens at 1245 and filled up quite quickly. They have a menu in English and the staff speak English too. You are presented with a tray of fresh fish on arrival so that you can select what you'd like if you are having 'secondi'. The antipasti is worth having, and if there are two of you, share it. Then do go for the pasta with vongole, and again share it since there is a lot if it. We had monkfish and sea bream and both were cooked to perfection. Puddings are equally good. The wine list is good and much less expensive than in the north of Italy. Would definitely go back!

Rainy day, so ducked into this place that was recommended by some local Italians. We were the first for lunch and it took a while to feel comfortable. The young women fronting the place always seemed to be disappearing to smoke on the front step which wasn't great! The young waiter was friendly and efficient. The red wine by the glass and the sparkling white were good value and very nice. The two pasta dishes were great at 12 euro each and the side order of veggies was pleasant and made the meal. Avoid the desserts. Coffee was cheap.
Big fuss about the card machine not working (was this a scam?) so we had to pay cash...
