Really good for some pastry deli. Not the best for ice cream (just picky because of the overall level you can find around), lovely the gelsi granita, lovely the brioches and the SETTEVELI is a must (even black forest and for alcohol lovers the presidential balls)
I suggest to try cream, freshly whipped as it should be everywhere in the world!
If you go to capo, try Giulio's desserts.
They brings water without asking for it
Service can be slow due to the number of customers. In August is hard to get a seat

Last week my girlfriend and I, together with another couple, went to Sicily and we stayed in Capo d'Orlando. As I'm from Belgium, my "Gelato" knowledge is very limited, but I've come a long way and have learned in Italy the existence of a "Granita" (mix of finely crushed ice with fresh fruit). As many Italians told me (including my girlfriend) Sicilian granitas are known to be the best. This place was recommended by our hotel manager as the number 1 place for these revitalizing desserts, so the first chance we got, we visited the city center and tried the granita. The selection is amazing and the taste superb! You feel the freshness of the product and can't but admire it's lovely taste. Even the "normal" ice cream (e.g. nocciola) that our friend tried, was extremely good of quality and taste. So, if this doesn't persuade you, the girl working behind the register might: Miss Sicily, no joke :) Buon gelato!

Restaurant with air-conditioned indoor and outdoor. Open for lunch from 12:00 until 15:30, dinner from 19:00 to 23:30. Sicilian and Italian cuisine.Ristorante con sala interna climatizzata ed esterna. Aperto a pranzo dalle 12:00 alle 15:30, a cena dalle 19:00 alle 24.00 . Cucina siciliana e eoliana!
Love the food and the service is excellent! Very polite staff! If you want a meal ready in 5 mins. This is an elegant private setting restaurant, of course it's not gonna take couple of mins to have food ready and served. You can def. see that the products are fresh and cooked properly. If you love coffee, I advice to try cappuccino, it's amazing! Exactly how it should be! Anyhow, I recommend this restaurant if you're into Italian food.

This is a real cafe/bar, that caters for the townsfolk rather than the tourists. Not only does it serve the best coffee in town, it is also a great place to see a small slice of Sicilian life. It is where everyone seems to go for breakfast (an espresso and a cornetto - consumed standing up at the bar) and then to relax in the evening. Nice selection of cakes and home-made ice creams too. And the bill will come as a pleasant surprise.

Our friends raved about the tuna carpaccio, and being a huge fan of sashimi, we had to try it. It was served with capsicum icecream (!), crushed olives and an astonishing amount of Sea Salt. Unless the fish is old and they want to preserve it, I don't know why so many Italian restaurants choke their fish with excessive salt. Remove the salt and this dish would have been five stars. I couldn't scrape it off due to the covering of melted icecream so it gets three stars for potential. Conversely, the Pasta al scoglio (seafood marinara) was lacking salt...??? As that was easily fixable, it rates well. Overall an interesting dining experience in a great location.

This is a great place to eat if you are spending time in Capo d'Orlando and local people will recommend it to you. The menu is regional in nature, freshly sourced and with many vegetable/vegetarian options, excellent seafood, meat and charcuterie. The staff and customers are friendly and the patron takes a real interest in his customers and their choices. Good local wine too.

Beautiful location and set up. We found it quite pretentious and the food was not all that great. Involtini di Pesce spada burned were sent back. Tartare of tuna with orange was very average. All together quite disappointing. Would not go back!

Typical sicilian products. Meat, fish and fresh vegetables.
Recommended by our friendly concierge at the Vuelle Apartments this placed is a hidden treasure. The waiter informed us that the menu consisted of whatever fresh produce was available on the day . I can say he didnt dissapoint the 3 courses which he recommended were a selection of seafood delights shared by iur table of 8 and cooked by the female chef. The octupus salsa, the polenta cake and the tuna were a standout. If you have any doubts try for yourself and see you eont be dissapointed. The house red was eorthy inclusion. If i come back to capo d'orlando i will be booking ahead.
