Popped in for lunch during a walk. Sat outside on the terrace, which has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Had a salad which was very nice, and a glass of wine. The interior has recently been redone I believe, and was most attractive. Would come back again.

Had a really excellent experience eating out at this lovely warm and cosy restaurant.The service was extremely good, helpful, friendly and attentive. The rump steak was cooked exactly as we had ordered it, and was delicious, served with a generous portion of thin fries and salad from the buffet. The pork medallions were also delicious.I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Arrived in Oberjoch having taken the scenic route from Bad Hinderlang several hundred metres below by service bus. having decided to take a shortish walk through the scenic moorland via the Moorweg towards Unterjoch we were ,along with many others thwarted in our search for refreshment as the half way house was subject to Monday closing.Thus we came back and took light refreshment in the form of delicious soup on benches outside the Moorhutte (rather than the restaurant inside) where we had unrivalled views of the mountains and cable cars some of which were open despite it being late October. Really great experience with the hutte having its own herd of goats and a gentle circuit round the pond which appears to be used for swimming on warmer days. The air here has a fantastically pure quality difficult to appreciate in the valley below.

Ate out here this evening with friends, and we all had excellent meals. The restaurant was fairly busy, and the service was extremely good, friendly and efficient. There was a special additional menu using seasonal produce, on this occasion it was mushrooms (other times we have visited it was asparagus). Two of us had cream of mushroom soup with fresh thyme, which was fabulous, and others had buffalo mozzarella with apple smoke and tomato salsa. I had carpaccio of salmon with an avocado mouse. To follow, we had a chicken salad (v large), chicken on a bed of rocket risotto, and kasespatzle. All excellent. This is the best restaurant in Bad Hindelang in my opinion.

Selten haben meine Frau und ich eine derart schÃ¶ne Ãberraschung wie im 1200 NN erlebt - auf der Suche nach einem einigermassen vernÃ¼nftigen Restaurant liessen wir uns von der vielversprechenden MenÃ¼karte anlocken und erlebten einen herzigen, kulinarischen und gemÃ¼tlichen Abend. Aber der Reihe nach:Wir wurden vom sehr herzlichen Ober empfangen, der sein Handwerk bis ins Detail versteht. Diskret, charmant und mit Blick fÃ¼r noch die kleinste Befindlichkeit seiner GÃ¤ste begleitete er uns durch den Abend. Seine Weinberatung war zudem hervorragend. Das kleine 2-Mann - Team der KÃ¼che um den Chef Christopher JÃ¤ger (wir mussten zuerst im Internet suchen, mit welchem hellen und kreativen Geist wir es in der KÃ¼che zu tun haben) zauberte derweil viele feine KÃ¶stlichkeiten auf unsere Teller, die unseren Gaumen und unsere Augen begeisterten. Der rote Faden durch dieses MenÃ¼ (wir nahmen die 5 GÃ¤nge statt der 7) zeichnet sich durch lokale Zutaten, die ohne grosses Chichi elegant und mit einer aromatischen Klarheit zusammengebracht werden. So erlebten wir z.B. Topinambur zusammen mit angerÃ¶stetem Lauch in einer Harmonie, die bereits deutlich nach Sterne-KÃ¼che schmeckt. Statt vieler Worte lassen wir dann doch lieber ein paar der schÃ¶nen Bilder fÃ¼r dieses tolle MenÃ¼ sprechen. Das Team ist sehr engagiert und wir wÃ¼nschen ihnen, dass sie mit dieser feinen, durchdachten KÃ¼che noch viele weiter GÃ¤ste glÃ¼cklich machen werden! Ohne Vorbehalt empfehlen wir den Besuch.

Spent a lovely afternoon here with friends. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We sat next to the very attractive modern fire, and much admired the interior decoration. I recently had the wonderful pleasure of spending several days in the quaint town of Oberjoch. It was summertime, so the town is not as busy with tourists as it is during the winter ski season, but outdoor enthusiasts still descend on the town during the warm months to hike, bike, camp, and just enjoy the abundance of green and fresh air! There are several wonderful cafes and traditional Bavarian restaurants in town serving amazing food, but often it's a bit too heavy for the warm summertime. So upon finding Erdinger Urweisse Alp, with their modern spin on regional food, I spent a few evenings enjoying the ambiance and amazing food here. They have an amazing outdoor patio for the warm months, with views of the jutting Alps, taller than tall trees, and meadows of wildflowers. I sampled Cream of Asparagus soup with Lox, Beef Tar-Tar, Goat Cheese salad w/ Truffle Honey(!), and AllgÃ¤uer KÃ¤sspatzen (traditional Spatzen with cheese!). Wash all of this down with some amazing German beer as you look out over the gorgeous surroundings while surrounded by great friends and you know it doesn't get much better than this! If you're still wishing for the traditional, don't worry, Wiener Schnitzel is on the menu, too. And if you brought the kids, EUA has a great kids portion of the menu, as well. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Martina & Andreas, as well as the Chefs creating these amazing dishes, and they are all so friendly and accommodating! And do not, I repeat, DO NOT forget to order desert! Chocolate raviolis topped with fruit, fresh mint, and caramel....yep, you heard that right!

This restaurant is an absolute must if you are after a special meal, but make sure you make a reservation. The restaurant was very busy for a Sunday evening, which was a good sign. The menu is very extensive, with a daily special menu of five courses, which three of our group chose. The courses were just the right size, and decent gaps in between. The food was expertly presented, and the ingredients were of high quality. Everything was just perfect, and none of us could criticise anything. This was quite simply the very best meal I have experienced in Germany, indeed the best meal I have had in a very long time. The environment is delightful, very warm and cosy with lots of atmosphere. I can't wait to return here as often as I can. For the standard of food, the prices are reasonable.
Nach einer gastronomischen EnttÃ¤uschung in der nÃ¤heren Umgebung waren wir angenehm Ã¼berrascht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Auf der eher angenehm kleinen Speisekarte fand sich rasch etwas mit frÃ¤nkischem Einschlag. Das Essen war dann auch geschmacklich und preislich vollkommen in Ordnung. Wir wÃ¼rden wieder dort essen gehen.
