Kekova Sound

We went to Kekova Sound on three different day trips by boat from Kas. Each time we discovered new things to see and learn. The ancient past of this area is fascinating and is apparent everywhere. The water is exquisite and we loved snorkelling in the various bays to see if we could find any ancient relics. Fresh fish at Simena Village for lunch was fabulous as was the home made icecream at Kalekoy. A great place to visit for all ages. Kids would love it.

Kalekoy Harbour

We have arrived to this charming village by kayak. After a tasteful lunch at Paradise restaurant we have walked in shallow sea around the harbour and were lucky to see the sea turtle swimming around us without any fear. Nice ruins of castle on the hill.

Kaputas Beach

Reviewed By TandS-W - Northamptonshire

This mixed sand/pebble beach isn't too far from Kalkans (inferior) beach, just get the local dolmus from Kalkan centre near school/taxi rank, it costs 3.5 tl pp each way. Descend about 100+ steps to walkway/beach. Managed by Law Council and has Clean toilets(Turkish style) and changing rooms available. Also new cafe that provides simple but good quality food & drinks, such as Turkish pancakes, hamburgers, etc. Parasols & sunbeds, about 5tl each or day.
Lifeguard normally on duty, swimming safety line to stop boats ingress to most of beach.

Just a 10 minute walk from the town center, you'll find an restored theater that is definitely worth climbing for the view (and photos). A beautiful view of the sea, feel free to relax as long as you want. No admission charge.

Lions Tomb

We actually visited September 2015, but it's worth a look at this tomb. There's several that look like this scattered across many of the Mountains and shore lines but this is by far one of the biggest.
It's a short walk from the town centre up a little hill

Big Pebble Beach

Reviewed By Tespit B - Istanbul, Turkey

The pebbles may annoy you but the water is perfect if you like cool water. There are natural Springs inside which cools the water. There is a cave on the right hand side to explore, a flaslight is recommended as it goes up to 30 meters inside.

Hidayet koyu

Reviewed By Peter M - Istanbul, Turkey

Well it's the Turkish definition of beach, which is shingle or rock, but this is a good sheltered spot and is definitely worth visiting. Crowded in the summer months, but kept immaculately clean. Beds are charged for (questionable) regardless of whether you eat there or not. But food and drinks available are good and the staff very helpful.
